Music Inspiration: The Stuyvesants – The Finer Things

The dynamic Brooklyn duo, The Stuyvesants, released their sophomore album “The Finer Things” (volumes 1 and 2) last week.  The two volumes contain 20 tracks each and are full of hypnotic soulful instrumentals that are sure to have you nodding your head and moving with the beat.

It’s all I’ve been listening to over the last few days and while I love all every song, my absolute favorites so far are Ewww (LaLaLa) off of Vol. 1 and Y.E.S. off of Vol 2.  Visit the site here to listen/download.  If you’re new to the group certainly check out their first album “Brooklyn’s Finest” here.

All the album art was also designed by the members, Allan Cole and Darien Victor Birks.  Such talented guys.  Enjoy!
