Book: AFROS – A Celebration Of Natural Hair

Brooklyn-based photographer Michael July has created a book on Afros celebrating the beauty of natural hair. The 240 subjects from the book represent a variety of ethnicities and the photographs were taken all over the U.S. over a period of 5 years.

I can’t wait to view this in person. Looking at the promotional video I see a couple of friends inside. There is a Kickstarter campaign to help fund its printing. For more on the book or to pledge your support click here.
