I haven’t worn much jeans since the summer started, but with the cooler temperatures in store I’m sure to be breaking out some of these styles in the coming weeks. Maybe even the coming days since the high in NYC yesterday was 72. Unbelievable since it’s still August! Anyway, these are a few items that [...]
I really enjoyed this short documentary on Brazilian fashion designer Carlos Falchi. He speaks about how the 60′s NY art and music scene influenced his work and how color inspires the bags he creates. The animations in the film were done by SVA graduate Thomas Losinski.
Fabulous new multi-striped shoes from Jeffrey Campbell. Great to know that you can count on his collections to push the envelope on daring designs. Check out more here.
Loving all the patterned items now available on Anthropologie. I’m thinking about a lot of oranges and browns as we approach the fall in a few weeks. The skirt in the upper right is to die for!
Colorful scarves from the Fabryan Psychedelic collection. These are so energetic and vibrant. A great accessory that can be worn as a shawl, top or even as a head scarf. The options are endless. See more of them here.
Bangles, tote bags and headbands from QuellyRue Designs. The Etsy shop also contains some pretty earrings, necklaces, scarves and other accessories. I have a bad case of the brokesies right now, but I’d love to get my hands on an assortment of those bracelets. Great patterns. See more here.
Florals and fab colors from NaKIMuli’s SS11 line. If you pre-order any item from the collection by July 13th, you’ll get 15% off your entire order. Like I needed another incentive to buy any of these items. See the whole line here.
Cool Navajo Prints from Thief & Bandit. Check out more here.
I’m loving the prints and color palettes from the Boxing Kitten F/W 2011 collection. Above this, I think the shoot was extremely well executed. Photographed by one my favorites, Kwesi Abbensetts, all elements such as the lighting, makeup and styling have come together to create a romantic experience that really draws the consumer in. Check [...]
Pretty purples from the London based fashion house Fabryan. I want the sequined number on the bottom left right now! Check out more from the collection on the site here.
