Dope illustrations/designs from Naturel’s latest project Momentous. What’s so great about this is the fact not only is Naturel a talented recording artist, but he’s also an incredible graphic and fashion designer. He created all of the above images himself. The album features 13 tracks and comes with a 30-page art booklet including the images displayed above.

I was riding my bike on Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn this past weekend when this street art caught my eye. I love graffiti when it’s tastefully done and not defacing private property. The above is a great example of that.
The below is a mural I saw on the Billionaire Boys Club blog. Painted by Jesús Cerezo aka Jc Chus, in Seville, Spain, he uses a series of colorful swirls to add light to what is essentially a regular dead end street. The end result is spectacular.

Hip-hop is my first love, but every once in a while I step out to explore something new to keep things interesting. In one of these instances my homegirl, Lin, put me on to the Electric Punanny mixtape and I haven’t stopped listening to it since.
Featuring the music and mixes of DJs/rappers MeLo-X and Jasmine Solano, the album is a compilation of house, electric, dancehall, reggae and much more. It’ll really get you on your feet and moving.
I saw MeLo-X at Live at the Loft last week and his music is very eclectic. I also saw Jasmine Solano perform at Public Assembly last month and she also puts on a great show.
