Incredible work by Charis Tsevis. Inspiration here came from the Turkey 2010 Basketball World Championship. I love the colors and the sense of movement in the images. The shapes are also phenomenal.

It struck me the other day that I haven’t worn socks in months! Socks or pants at all for that matter. Since it’s getting cooler though it looks as though I need to get over this fact and stock up on these. Great to know that there are more options out there than the white tube socks I used to wear in elementary school.
These are super cute. More detail here.
There won’t be a music video this Friday since I’m traveling for a wedding and didn’t have to time to write the post, but I wanted to share this illustration I came across of Maroon 5 by Matt Lehman.
See more of his portfolio including some really dope logos here.
Fantastic illustrations and designs from husband and wife team Nathan Strandberg and Katie Kirk of Eight Hour Day design boutique. I would love to get my hands on one of those totes.
More of their portfolio is available on their website.
I had a rooftop party a few weeks ago and my friend snagged these amazing pictures of the Brooklyn and Manhattan skyline on his camera phone while we were setting up. They’re so breathtaking that it amazes me that these shots didn’t come from a high-end device.
I didn’t even realize how amazing the sky was that day. It goes to show you that sometimes it’s necessary to take a step back to appreciate the beauty in life. I know I can certainly stand to do this. I’m usually so busy running around that I hardly appreciate the small things. These pictures are a fantastic reminder. Thanks Steph!
Fun patterns from the Suno collection. The clothing is constructed by recycled textiles from Kenya.
More available at Opening Ceremony.
I love these colorful wallets by Crea Crea. If I had one of these I’d smile each time I reached for it (even if there were no money inside).
More of the collection here.
Cool geometrical inspired accessories from Etsy store Spin Thread. Each piece is embroidered by hand. More available here.

Drawings and painted work from Brooklyn based artist/designer Scott Albrecht. I love the inspiration in these quotes. They push you to explore your passion.
More from Scott’s portfolio here. To get a tote bag with the Let’s Make Time for All the Things We Want to Do design, see Scott’s big cartel store here.
Designer Okamoto Hikarishi of Kyouei Design has created a color light DVD that works to change the mood within the home/event. Instead of turning the TV off or putting it on mute and being distracted by the images, the DVD provides a soothing palette of color gradations that add tranquility to the room’s ambiance.
I’m starting a class this week on the psychology of color and how it changes an environment, so I think this is pretty interesting.
